SparkNamer Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

This policy explains how SparkNamer collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use sparknamer.com and related SparkNamer services. The separate Extension Privacy Policy covers the SparkNamer browser extension.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account or sign in, we may receive your name, email address, account identifier, authentication-provider information, and account settings.

Google account information. If you use Google sign-in, SparkNamer receives the basic profile information you authorize, such as your name, email address, and Google account identifier. Normal Google sign-in does not give SparkNamer access to your Gmail, Drive files, or Google Ads account. If a future feature requests additional Google permissions, those permissions will be shown on Google's consent screen before access is granted.

Product content. We process the domain names, watchlists, research requests, saved results, alerts, feedback, and other information you choose to submit so we can provide the requested functionality.

Billing information. Lemon Squeezy processes checkout and payment-card information. SparkNamer receives transaction and subscription details needed to activate and maintain your plan, such as plan, subscription status, customer email, provider identifiers, and billing-period dates. SparkNamer does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

Technical and usage information. We may collect device and browser information, IP-derived security or rate-limit signals, page paths, referral or campaign information, feature interactions, error information, and timestamps. We design product analytics to avoid including private domain inputs in general analytics events.

Browser storage. SparkNamer may use cookies, local storage, or session storage for authentication, security, preferences, workflow continuity, attribution, and locally retained results where permitted by applicable data-source policy.

How we use information

  • Provide, secure, maintain, and improve SparkNamer.
  • Authenticate users and keep account data associated with the correct account.
  • Run domain research, appraisal, monitoring, alerts, exports, and saved workflows requested by users.
  • Process subscriptions, enforce plan limits, prevent fraud or abuse, and provide support.
  • Measure aggregate product usage and understand which product experiences are useful.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

Service providers and sharing

We share information only as needed with service providers that help operate SparkNamer, such as authentication providers, hosting and infrastructure providers, data and email services, payment processor Lemon Squeezy, Google Analytics, and Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. Microsoft Clarity may be used on eligible public product surfaces if enabled; private or sensitive product surfaces are excluded or masked where applicable.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or SparkNamer, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets subject to appropriate protections.

SparkNamer does not sell personal information or transfer private account content to data brokers.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and subscription records, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service. Retention periods may differ by data type and by the requirements of third-party data sources.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong password and protect access to your authentication account.

Your choices and rights

You can manage certain information and preferences through SparkNamer. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing where applicable. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required by law, security, fraud-prevention, or legitimate recordkeeping obligations.

You can control browser cookies and storage through your browser, although disabling essential storage may prevent authentication or other product functions from working.

International use and children

SparkNamer and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

SparkNamer is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as SparkNamer changes. We will post the updated policy here and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
